Our Library Resources

Situated at 45 Tamar Street, in the historic City Park Stables next door to the Albert Hall, our library is a reference library that provides a friendly and convenient venue for members and visitors interested in researching their family histories.

The library comprises a large number and variety of fully catalogued paper, book, microfiche, film and computer-based resources. Many TFHS Inc. publications are available for sale as well as family tree and family group charts.

Our resources have an emphasis on research in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.  We are continually adding new and exciting records from all over the world and a few are listed below.

Our library is staffed by volunteers who are willing to assist beginning researchers or help experienced researchers overcome ‘brick walls’.

Our location is within easy walking distance to Paterson East, grand Chancellor and Inveresk car parks. Metered and un-metered car parking is available in surrounding streets. Coffee and lunch facilities are available close by.
